CVRTF Releases Annual Report

The Central Valley Rails to Trails Foundation has published their 2014-15 Annual Report.

Highlights:

Financials – The Foundation remains in a solid financial position, and stands ready to resume working toward a community rail trail should the CCT Rail Corridor become available.

Communications – Community supporters can keep up-to-date on the activities of the Foundation at www.cvrtf.org or on social media sites including Twitter and Facebook.

DSC_0676-X3Community Participation – Representatives of the Foundation participated in several community events in San Joaquin and Sacramento Counties, including the State Chili Cook-off at Woodbridge Winery where they won the People’s Choice Award!

Annual Meeting – Over 100 community members attended the July Annual Meeting and heard a presentation by a representative of the High Speed Rail Authority.

Sponsored Event – TrailFest 2014 was a great success, allowing CVRTF to present locally produced beverages and food products, art exhibits, live and silent auctions, and the crowd favorite “Guess the Weight of the Stallion” contest, all benefiting Project R.I.D.E. of Elk Grove and sustaining CVRTF for another year.
